Basalt in Quynh Thang Quarry is accepted in theme "Research to use basalt stone in Quynh Thang for cement additives" according to Decision No. 803 / XMVN-KT on 7th May, 2001 and approved by Society Council approval of the State mineral reserves document No. 338 / HDTL on 30th April, 1996 about "Report in geological exploration results of Basalt stone” in Quynh Thang - Quynh Chau, Quynh Luu- district, Nghe An province" with the quantities which meet the quality over 10 million tons;
The quality of basalt stone in Quynh Thang meets the requirements of ISO 6882: 2001 standards in Vietnam on mineral additives for cement with the following parameters:
